Accounts and Payments

Your First Payment

Ask your agent to prepare a small payment, then check its status.

Check the Account

Ask your agent app to list its accounts and balances. It uses the get_accounts and get_balances tools. Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets the app use these Agent Connect tools. Confirm the intended account and asset. All supported money operations use confidential execution. Use source: confidential to check the same confidential balance shown in the dashboard.

If needed, Add Funds. Check Transfer Limits, Account Whitelist, and Timelocks.

Describe the Payment

Give the task in your agent app. Specify the account, amount, asset, destination, and purpose. Replace the fields in brackets in this example:

Prepare a payment of [amount] [asset] from Checking to [recipient address] on [network] for [purpose]. Check the account rules and balance. Show me the details and wait for my confirmation before submitting. If account rules require owner review, give me the review link.

Your confirmation in chat does not replace any approval required by the account rules.

Service purchases need a payment route supported by your app. MCP access alone does not make every service payable. Learn about MPP and x402 payments.

Follow Activity

Open Transfer Activity & Review. Check the account, amount, destination, and status.

If the payment is pending, check its status. Do not submit it again.

Review When Requested

If you want to approve or reject payments yourself, enable human review. It works with a NEAR wallet or a passkey, and you approve each request with the wallet or passkey you signed in with. EVM wallets are coming soon.

When a payment needs your review, open the review link to approve or reject it. Your agent app can read approval status but cannot make the decision for you.

Confirm the Result

Check that the payment completed successfully, then check the balance and activity. If the result is unclear, refresh the existing request before retrying. See Troubleshooting for stalled payments.
