NEAR Intents
Explore supported assets, networks, and MPP and x402 payments.
On This Page
Agent Connect uses NEAR Intents for supported assets and networks. Your agent can use the accounts you allow, subject to their balances and spending rules.
Assets and Networks
Available assets and networks can change. Check Deposit Funds or ask your agent app to use get_tokens before choosing an asset. Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets the app use Agent Connect tools.
A listed asset may not support every transaction or network. Check the deposit or transfer instructions before sending funds.
Add Funds From Another Chain
- Open the intended account and choose Deposit Funds.
- Read the constraints, then select the token and sending network.
- Generate a confidential deposit address and follow its minimum, memo, and expiry instructions.
- Check deposit status and the resulting account balance.
Follow the full deposit guide.
MPP and x402 Payments
MPP and x402 are payment protocols that agents can use to pay for services. A purchase needs both a supported service and an agent app that can handle its payment flow.
The current Agent Connect MCP interface exposes account, asset, and transfer operations. It does not expose a dedicated MPP or x402 checkout tool. Confirm how your agent app and the service handle the protocol before requesting a purchase.
Start with a balance check and a small, explicit payment. Give your agent its first task.
Choose the Next Step
- Connect Your Agent: choose the accounts your agent app can use.
- Add Funds: prepare Checking before spending.
- MCP Tools: check supported transactions and asset identifiers.
